Opening Later this March in Midtown Manhattan
Spring in New York means one thing: the hunt for what’s new. New places, new flavors, new reasons to get out of the apartment. This March, Shaver Hall opens in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, inviting New Yorkers and tourists alike to experience a curated culinary journey designed for discovery, indulgence, and repeat visits. Set inside a historic New York landmark, Shaver Hall is a new Midtown food hall just steps from Grand Central Terminal, moments from Bryant Park, and an easy walk to the Theater District and Times Square. Designed for the way New Yorkers actually move through the city, it’s the perfect stop for lunch between meetings, pre-theater dining, post-work drinks, or a spontaneous food crawl that turns into the night’s main event. Shaver Hall is a new Midtown food hall bringing together chef-driven restaurants, cult favorites, and quick-hit cravings—all under one roof. This is where instincts take over. Follow your nose from Tonchinette (Tokyo-rooted ramen with New York attitude) to F&F Pizzeria’s Brooklyn-born Sicilian slices. Grab Mexico City–style tacos from Taqueria Al Pastor, handmade pasta from Pastasole, or Michelin-recognized Korean fried chicken from Chick Chick. Start the day with Tompkins Square Bagels, end it with small-batch gelato from Biddrina, and fill the in-between moments at the Bodega, featuring snacks, coffee, curated gifts, and a self-serve wall of taps featuring 20 rotating beer, wine and cocktail options.
For those looking to slow it down, Shaver Hall also delivers sit-down experiences with real range. Norihana offers precision-driven sushi focused on pristine fish and balance, while Mako Omakase, led by acclaimed chef BK Park (Juno Sushi, Mako Chicago), introduces a reservation-led, high-end tasting experience blending traditional and modern Japanese preparations. Add to that Tallow, where a steakhouse mindset meets prix-fixe sensibility, built around premium beef, and Pick & Cheese, a first-of-in-the USA conveyor-belt cheese bar showcasing curated American cheeses and pairings in a playful, social format. Together, these concepts anchor the hall with moments meant to linger, without losing the energy of the historic building.
Designed for return visits, Shaver Hall isn’t about doing everything at once. It’s about starting somewhere and coming back hungry. Lunch between meetings. Drinks after work. Spring afternoons turn into dinner. Every visit unlocks something new. Come Taste for Yourself
